LET’S THRIVE

Life in the middle lane.

A WhatsApp membership for women who want encouragement, practical prompts and honest accountability while they look after themselves in real life. It is life in the middle lane, practised together. LET’S THRIVE begins 1 October, and £15 secures your place for October. Today’s payment is a one-off payment for October and will not renew automatically.

This is about speaking to yourself with more kindness, keeping the small promises you make to yourself and learning to love and respect yourself a little more each day.

A real-life walk as part of showing up for yourself

Life in the middle lane

Life in the middle lane

This is not another diet plan. There are no forbidden foods and no new set of rules to get right.

You may be following a plan, using a GLP-1 or following no plan at all. You are welcome here.

I was the queen of diets. I was good at following them, losing weight and doing exactly what I was told. They worked, until they did not. But after years of diet language, food rules and starting again, I realised the plan was never the only part of the story.

That is what we are moving away from here. Not your right to want weight loss, use weight-loss medication or follow a plan, but the guilt, fear and obsession that can make food and body size take over your life.

Instead of constantly taking things away, we focus on adding more.

More nourishment.

More water.

More movement.

More strength.

More rest.

More joy.

More life.

This is about looking after yourself every day without making your body size your whole life.

If you want to lose weight, that goal is welcome. But we will celebrate far more than the number on the scales. We will celebrate getting stronger, moving more, keeping promises to yourself, enjoying food without guilt and doing the things you keep putting off.

The aim is to find a way of living that helps you feel well in your body and still lets you enjoy a full life.

Practical support for real life

What looking after yourself can actually look like

This is not about being perfect. It is about doing more of the things that help you feel well, strong and present in your own life.

  • Moving your body each day in a way that works for you
  • Building strength and celebrating what your body can do
  • Drinking enough water and including protein and fibre in a way that suits your life
  • Eating food you enjoy without guilt or moral judgement
  • Making room for rest, looking after yourself, joy and fun
  • Noticing diet language and changing the way you speak to yourself
  • Finding balance so food rules and body size do not become your whole life

I will share some of my own meals, recipes and quick ideas, including simple ways I add protein and fibre, as well as the more indulgent things I enjoy. Life is about balance, and nourishment is not only about nutrition. These are ideas from my life, not a meal plan or a list of things you have to eat. Take what helps you and leave what does not.

Taking part together

I am doing this with you

I am not standing outside the group telling you what to do. I will be taking part and sharing how I look after myself, how I move, eat, reset, make room for joy and live in the middle lane after a lifetime of all-or-nothing thinking.

My size is no longer my priority. How I feel mentally and physically is.

This work offers education, reflection, accountability and community support. It is not therapy, medical care, diagnosis or eating-disorder treatment.
