Privacy Policy

This website is run by Natalie Carter trading as The Thriving Practice, based in the UK. Natalie is the data controller for the personal information described here.

We only collect what you choose to give us through the website:

• LET’S THRIVE joining details: your name, WhatsApp number, email address, what you’re hoping to get from the membership, your confirmation of the membership terms, and whether you chose to hear about other offers (with the date you chose).
• LET’S THRIVE PERSONAL waitlist: your first name and email address.
• Launch notifications for Understand Your Eating, plus any earlier Learning Library requests: your email address and which offer you asked about.
• Emails you send us: whatever you include in your message.
• Payments: LET’S THRIVE is paid through Stripe. Stripe collects your card and billing details. We do not see or store your full card details; we receive payment and subscription records such as your name, email and payment status.

Like most websites, our hosting and technical providers automatically process basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type so the site can load securely.

• To add you to the LET’S THRIVE WhatsApp spaces, match your details to your payment and support your membership.
• To contact you about LET’S THRIVE PERSONAL when a place becomes available.
• To send you one email when the offer you asked about goes live.
• To reply to your emails.
• To take and manage payments, and keep business and accounting records.
• To send occasional emails about resources, programmes and offers, only if you ticked the optional box to hear about them.

We don’t sell your information and we don’t add you to a general mailing list unless you ask to be.

• Contract: providing the LET’S THRIVE membership you’ve paid for, including taking payment.
• Legitimate interests: replying to your emails, managing waitlist and launch notification requests you’ve made, and keeping the website secure.
• Consent: optional marketing emails. You can withdraw this at any time.
• Legal obligation: keeping payment and accounting records.

We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They process information on our behalf:

• Lovable (website hosting, form database and notification email delivery).
• Stripe (payments and subscriptions).
• Microsoft Outlook / Hotmail (our email inbox, where enquiries and sign-up alerts arrive).
• WhatsApp (Meta), where the LET’S THRIVE spaces run. Other members of those spaces can see your number and profile information.
• Google Fonts, which delivers the site’s typefaces and receives your IP address when a page loads.

If you follow a link to another site, such as our social media pages or a product on the Things I use page, that site’s own privacy policy applies.

Some of these providers are based in, or use servers in, countries outside the UK, including the United States. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place for international transfers, such as the UK’s adequacy arrangements or standard contractual clauses.

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected for. For example, waitlist and notification details are kept until the offer launches or you ask us to remove them, and membership details for as long as you’re a member and a reasonable period afterwards. Payment records are kept for as long as UK tax and accounting rules require.

You have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
• ask us to correct it
• ask us to delete it
• ask us to restrict how we use it
• object to how we use it, including for marketing
• ask for it in a portable format, where this applies
• withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. It only uses what is needed for the site and its forms to work.
